With deep regret I share with you that Joyce Dickerson, Manager for Sterile Processing at Woman’s Hospital of Texas passed away last Monday. In addition to working at Woman’s Hospital Joyce was very active in the Houston Chapter for Central Service Personnel. She served in the role as Chapter Representative to the Board for many years.

Joyce was diagnosed with cancer in 1998. Since that time in addition to fighting her disease, she continued to work and remained active in the chapter. Her determination and attitude was an inspiration to everyone around her. She never felt sorry for herself and refused to let anyone else. She fought the battle with determination and dignity. She will be missed by all of us who loves and respects her.
